Spacious log cabin with a stunning lake view
Hiidenlumo is a traditional round log cabin on two floors, on the shores of the beautiful and fishy Hiidenvesi, near Vihti. The cottage is less than an hour’s drive from Helsinki. It is easily accessible by car and there is plenty of parking space.
The destination is reserved for families, companies, and other people on a quiet holiday, not for party groups.
A nice and cozy log cabin
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a large kitchen/living room combination, and a toilet. Upstairs there is access to a large balcony with a gas barbecue and the possibility to dine and spend time in the stunning scenery.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooker, and fridge-freezer. Drinking and service water comes from a private borehole. If you have no interest in cooking yourself, a local caterer will be happy to help.
The living room has a cooling air-source heat pump and a TV.
Downstairs there is a home theatre, a room with a fireplace, an electric sauna, a toilet and a bathroom with two showers and a washing tower. The downstairs patio has a pool table and seating area.
Beach sauna and courtyard facilities
On the plot, there is a lakeside sauna with a separate sauna room and a glazed porch. The sauna is right on the beach and can be easily accessed from the lot to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature or to cool off in the lake. Close to the sauna is a modern outdoor swimming pool overlooking the lake.
There’s also an Ofyr barbeque on the beach, where you can whip up a wide range of delicacies in no time at all.
In the garden shed you can find yard games, fishing rods, life jackets, and a kayak. In autumn you can enjoy the garden’s bounty. In winter you can go skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing on the lake.
Fishing boat for rent separately. Buster M is equipped with a 40hp outboard engine, electric bow thruster, and Lowrance live-aboard sonar. The boat is only available for cottage rentals.

Pääkslahti nature trail
Also 3 km away is the Pääkslahti nature trail, with a couple of different routes to choose from. There is also a shelter and a campfire site.
